Eph 3 vs 20 ,21 " Now Glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infintely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. May he be given glory in the church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages. Amen."

The Durban Church of Christ, in Kwa-zulu Natal South Africa, started 2008 with a Faith Jubilee on the weekend of the 11 - 13th January. We started the weekend with a fast and then a Jericho prayer march around our venue. Saturday morning was prayer on the beach followed by preaching and teaching from the book of Joshua. The theme was " Be strong and courageous"!

Duncan Comrie, the evangelist in Durban invited his parents to church on the Sunday. After Duncan and Doug Lightening's fiery and inspiring preaching, Dunc's Dad , Steve responded by saying " I want to be baptised!" After a full afternoon of intense and exciting Bible Study, Steve insisted that he had been around the church for a long time and was not leaving the house until he was baptised!! And he was!

Duncan, his wife and two girls have been back in Durban for a year after relocating from Johannesburg. "For us as a family this is a dream come true and an answer to 16 years of prayer."
