Financial boost for mission work in Mozambique

The church in Maputo is growing steadily and the disciples are happy! A group of almost 80 disciples traveled to Johannesburg by bus to join in the 21st birthday celebration of the Johannesburg church. For many of the disciples from Maputo, it was the first time to see so many disciples together. New dreams and new relationships were born, but God had more encouragement in store for Maputo!

God has put it on the hearts of the disciples of Colombia, South Carolina, in the USA, to financially support the mission work in Africa, specifically in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Angola.

The church in Maputo recently had the privilege of hosting two brothers from Colombia for a five day visit. Allen Curtis and George Hemingway strengthened and encouraged the church during a midweek service, a singles devotional, a bible talk leaders meeting, a marriage and parenting workshop and a Sunday service. It was especially faith-building for the relatively young Christians in Maputo to hear that these brothers have been disciples for 22 and 26 years respectively!

It was truly a unifying visit and we pray that the relationship between the two churches will continue to strengthen in the years to come. We are very grateful for Colombia's sacrifice and pray that God will be glorified through their giving.
