From the rolling winelands, to majestic Table Mountain, from the breath-taking views off Cape Point to the infamous Robben Island, Cape Town is known around the world for its wondrous scenic settings and rich history. Affectionately termed the Cape of Good Hope, explorers sailing the seas in search of prosperous lands dropped anchor here in 1652. The singles of the Cape Town Church of Christ in South Africa are inviting members of the singles ministry in the International Church of Christ, 28 years old and up, to come and share in the rich natural beauty of Cape Town and to experience not only the hope of explorers centuries old, but also the hope that we all share in Christ, who is the anchor of our souls (Hebrews 6:19). Running from 7th to 16th October 2007, the Cape Town singles are convinced that this 10 day adventure will refresh and encourage any a voyager who decides to embark on this spiritual sojourn. To ensure that each guest experiences the fullness of Cape Town’s rich heritage, culture and surroundings, they have planned an itinerary to match. Some of the exciting activities lined up include a cable car ride up Table Mountain, a visit to the heart of the Cape Winelands – Stellenbosch, sundowners at Camps Bay beach, a ferry trip across Table Bay to Robben Island and of course, lots of great fellowship! "Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God." (1 Peter 1:22-23)One of life’s greatest challenges is learning to not only "get along" with the people God puts in our life, but also to love them deeply from the heart. The Cape Town singles believe that fellowship is an essential part of our growth as human beings and also as Christians. They therefore encourage all singles, as the main aim of Experience Cape Town 2007, to come and fellowship with them - your extended family in Christ. As this once-in-a-lifetime adventure is limited to 100 people, book now to avoid disappointment! Prices range from R4 500 to R7 800 for the entire trip.
