Be prepared to be inspired! There is always a need for courageous living and courageous leadership, especially now. This world will never be changed by people living within their comfort zones, but by people willing to step out in faith and courage. This conference will focus on inspiring you to have a courageous vision for your life and church, how to build a leadership team, and how to pray courageous prayers, plus much much more....
Guest Speakers: George and Anne Irungu
George has been a disciple for 18 years and Anne for 16 years and have been married for 12 years. They have 3 girls; Joy (7yrs), Peace (5 yrs) and Purity (1yr 9 months). George has a Masters Degree in Counselling Studies from the University Of Manchester, UK and is the current chairman of the board of Hope Worldwide Kenya and East Africa. George and Anne, together with Steve and Carol, lead the Nairobi church that currently has a membership of 1,400 disciples. They also oversee the leadership of the 10 East Africa churches.
2008 saw Kenya experiencing massive post election skirmishes which was the worst political year ever for Kenya and the church. Hundreds of citizens, including disciples, lost their lives and thousands were displaced. Despite these dire circumstances, God worked and lead the church to great victories. God blessed the church and the disciples with great spiritual and numerical growth. So far in 2009, 72 people have been baptised and a host of new leaders are rising to the occasion in taking over new responsibilities.
